ISA is an acronym for International Shipyards Ancona, managed by Luciano Bregola, Marcello Maggi and the Yachting Investor Group (YIG), with the common goal to build ultimate pleasure and luxury yachts. They oversee a workforce of 160 people who are highly qualified and bring years of yacht building expertise to the group. Talented and highly professional interior and exterior designers and a premium level of managers form an unbeatable team in the yachting business.
ISA has been delivering world-class yachts since 2001. The company has built and delivered 22 motor yachts in eight years. The results are fantastic big ships, ranging from 36 to 90 meters in length, sleek and modern, powerful and contemporary. A huge work area of the shipyard (45,000 square meter) and warehouses make it possible that more than nine boats can be built simultaneously. ISA’s mission is to offer to its selective clientele luxury yachts at the cutting edge of both technology and design.
The maxim of constant technology advancement, design and superb lines are one of ISA’s greatest factors of success. Creativity finely blends with modernity: the main parts of the boat are designed, and each element is identified and traced through a bar code. The “After Sales & Refit” division utilizes the huge facilities at the shipyard based in Ancona: workshops for all kinds of metal work, fiberglass lamination and joinery, technical and administrative offices. This new division can call on the know-how of the engineers and workers who built 22 yachts in the last eight years, it also has a technical marina with ten berths for yachts up to 90 meters in length having work carried out or just in transit and a travel lift for hauling and launching boats up to 400 tons.
The metal yachts with steel heel and aluminium structure are much more extensive. The range comprises several models that can be further enhanced to meet customer specifications and requirements. Among them are the famous and successful ISA 470 and ISA 480 series, but also the even larger series. ISA is now working on 60m, 50m and 63m steel and on 40m fiberglass projects (ISA140).
This enduring passion for the sea and for sailing which is marked by a desire to achieve perfection brings out the highest standards of design, craftsmanship and an undiluted focus on excellence in engineering. ISA is a perfect balance between sportiness, elegance, technology and comfort that focuses on one simple goal: quality, innovation and unrivalled customer service.
